Merve Mersinligil

daughter of the painter Itir Orcun (www.itir.net), born in 1984 in Ankara, Turkey. She began her piano studies at the age of 4 and gave her first public performance at the age of 9. She has studied with Bogustlaw Woudka, David Ezra Okonsar and Eliane Reyes before meeting her two great professors, who has shaped her as a pianist, Aquiles Delle Vigne and Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden.

She is finalist and prize winner in international piano competitions. An established pedagogue, she teaches at Académie de Musique et Arts de la Scène de Watermael Boitsfort and Center Musical Eduardo Del Pueyo in Belgium and also gives masterclasses internationally. Her pupils have also won prizes in various international competitions.

She is represented by Pastorale Music Agency in Amsterdam - Netherlands. She tours extensively in Europe, in 2025-2026 season she will make her debut in Africa with violinist Michal Buczkowski. She is also the president and the artistic director of CLAME asbl (www.clame.be) which organizes regular concerts in Belgium to promote classical music and young talents with their maestros since 2013.
